Services

CNY Process Serving provides service of process and related document delivery services. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

Client responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing accurate documents, instructions, and a valid service address.
• You represent that you are authorized to request service and provide the documents submitted.
• If the address or information is incorrect or incomplete, additional fees or delays may apply.

Pricing and payment

• Routine Service: $100 (standard turnaround).
• Same‑Day Service: $150 (same-day attempt when feasible).
• Affidavit of Service is included with completed service.
• Additional fees may apply for mileage outside the normal service area, extra attempts, stakeouts, incorrect addresses, or special handling. We will confirm any additional fees before proceeding when possible.

Same-day service definition

“Same‑Day” means we will make a good-faith attempt to serve on the same calendar day the request is received during normal business hours, subject to distance, workload, and safety. Same‑day service is not a guarantee of successful service on that day.

No guarantee of successful service

Service of process depends on factors outside our control (availability, evasive recipients, gated access, etc.). We do not guarantee that a particular individual will be served by a specific time or date unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Refunds and cancellations

Fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including missed deadlines) unless required by law.

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
